Launch event at DMC Motorcycles, with a special guest Fuzz Townshend

On Thursday 10th April, an evening launch event was held at DMC Motorcycles in Dudley. Over 90 guests attended the evening, including special guest Fuzz Townshend (from TV series Car SOS and Shed & Buried).
The programme enabled us to inform those attending about the the charity Provision House, and our work to support those in crisis across the Black Country. The brother of Maurice (the benefactor), Dave Pope, attended and expressed how positive this project was for the family, and how much Maurice would have loved such an event. Lastly, plans were shared regarding the moving of the car in May, to the Institute of Technology, where the restoration work will begin.
I then had the privilege of interviewing Fuzz and conducting a Car SOS style, walk around assessment of the car. It was clear that Fuzz has a soft spot for the E-Type, fixed head coupe, and considers it one of his favourites. Fuzz had plenty of advice for us with his number one tip being to photograph everything and meticulously catalogue every part you remove.

Once again, I would like to thank Fuzz and all who attended for their time, and for making the launch event such a success.
So what do you give a guy like Fuzz to thank him for his time? Well, in true Provision House, up-cycling style, I decided to make something. After replacing the front disc’s on my 1200cc motorcycle recently, I was able to make a unique clock. Fuzz loved it and said it would adorn his workshop that was currently without one.
