Maurice Legacy Project
A Dudley community project involving the rescue an iconic classic car

Provision House is launching an exciting community project, involving the restoration of a 1963 E-Type Jaguar, classic car.
This Iconic car was left to us in a Will, following the passing of Mr Maurice Pope in December 2024. Maurice grew up in Robert Street, Gornal where he developed a passion for classic cars. Maurice’s dream was to see his beloved E-Type Jaguar restored, but sadly became ill before this could realised. His dying wish, was to see people of all ages in his community benefit from involvement in the car’s restoration process.
With this in mind Provision House are developing a project to work with schools and collages as well as local unemployed to assist us in the various stages of strip down, renovation and reconstruction.
You will be able to follow the restoration stages online via our Blog, which will include photos and video footage.
