Who Do We Provide a Home Starter Package For?

We provide items to people that are facing a range of challenging situations within the Black Country (Dudley, Sandwel, Walsall and Wolverhampton).

The majority of people we have supported often have nothing themselves to make a home as well as no way of getting the finances needed, often having had everything taken from them, or being in circumstances where they are being housed or re-housed at short notice, often with no recourse to public funds.

Our service users include:

Those fleeing domestic violence or others forms of abuse
Modern Slavery Victims
Asylum Seekers
Those that are living in poverty and cannot afford essentials to live
Those living in hostels or temporary accomodation and being rehome
Homeless

Beds (One per household)
Headboard
Child’s bed
Chest of Drawers
Wardrobes
Bedside Cabinet
Coffee table
Table Lamp
TV Cabinet
Tables and Chairs
3-Seater and 2 Chairs or
2-Seater and 1 Chair
Chairs
Wall Unit

*WE DO NOT PROVIDE WHITE GOODS – e.g. Washing machines etc…

Quilts and Pillows
Bedding including sheets, pillow cases, quilt cover
Curtains
Bathroom Mat Set
Towels
Saucepan/Frying Pan
Small electrical Items
Something to
Ironing Board
Bowls, Jugs and Containers
Dinner Set
Something to cook on, like a microwave or slow cooker (but not a cooker)
Other items are included

How Can This Service Be Accessed?

All request for our support package of household goods must come through a referral agency. A referral agency is an organisation like the council or other charities that may be supporting you.

Provision House (formerly known as Loaves n Fishes) is a Christian charity based in the West Midlands. We are committed to the relief of poverty and all its effects on the people of Sandwell, Dudley and the wider Black Country. We aim to do this by delivering care in the way of furniture, clothes, household items, food and more to help those that need it most.
