Launch of Business (Social Enterprise) Start Up Programme
In Sept 2025, as part of our commitment to help residents of the Black Country into employment, we launched our 12 week Business Startup Programme.
Over the course of the 12 week programme, the goal is to have helped participants write a solid business plan, so that they are ready to take the next step.
What will you learn?
In order for our participants to accomplish that task, we will teach all aspects that is required to be in a business plan, which includes:
1. Helping you to define your business idea
2. Understanding your market and competition
3. Listing your product or services
4. Finding the right legal structure for your business (Sole Trader, Company limited by guarantee, Social Enterprise, charity etc.)
5. Processes and procedures needed to run your businesses
6. Sales and marketing strategies
7. Financial forecasting and options
The course is run from Provision House in our Social Enterprise Hub.
Programme Details
The programme is 1/2 day commitment on Tuesdays from 10am – 2:30pm, with options to book a 1-1 session with our business mentor and use our facilities to “hot-desk”.
