Business and Administration Employability Programme

To be eligible you need to be:
Live within the Black Country
Aged 18 years old and over
You will need to be unemployed, NEET, economically inactive.
Program Details
Programme starts on Monday 12th Jan 2026 for 11 weeks, 1.5 days per week
>1/2 day training 10am – 12pm
>1 day work-experience. Day to be negotiated with you. (We will adjust times for parents/carers with caring responsibilities)
We follow Dudley School holiday patterns, so there will be no training or work-experience during term holidays

Training
Sector Specific Training
Our training will give you the knowledge in the following:
- 1. Overview of the administrative industry
- 2. Using database to enter information
- 3. Telephone skills
- 4. Customer Service
Employability Skills Training
We will give you a further training in employability skills, helping you to write a great CV and prepare you for interviews.
Work Experience
Our work-experience element is NOT about making cups of tea and doing menial tasks.
From the get go, you will start to experience the breath of tasks that you will need to work in this industry.
This will help you to build your skills and confidence, giving you a better chance of working in this industry
Retail and Customer Service Employability Programme

To be eligible you need to be:
Live within the Black Country
Aged 18 years old and over

Training in retail and customer service will give you the knowledge in the following:
- 1. Overview of the retail industry
- 2. Customer Service
- 3. How to handle and replenish stock
- 4. Visual merchandising
- 5. Shop floor layout and customer flow
Employability Skills Training
We will give you a further training in employability skills, helping you to write a great CV and prepare you for interviews.
Work Experience
Our work-experience element is NOT about making cups of tea and doing menial tasks.
From the get go, you will start to experience the breath of tasks that you will need to work in this industry, from dealing with customers to taking payments.
This will help you to build your skills and confidence, giving you a better chance of working in this industry.

Warehouse and Logistics Employability Programme

To be eligible you need to be:
Live within the Black Country
Aged 18 years old and over
You will need to be unemployed, NEET, economically inactive.
Program Details
Programme starts on Thursday January 15th 2026 for 12 weeks, 1.5 days per week
>1/2 day training (10am – 12pm)
>1 day of work-experience (9am – 4pm). Day will be negotiated with you. (We will adjust times for parents/carers with caring responsibilities)
We also follow Dudley School holiday patterns, so there will be no training or work-experience during term holidays

Work Experience
Our work-experience element is NOT about making cups of tea and doing menial tasks.
From the get go, you will start to experience the breath of tasks that you will need to work in this industry, from manual handling techniques actual delivery and collections of goods.
This will help you to build your skills and confidence, giving you a better chance of working in this industry.

Furniture Upcycling Course not available until further notice
Furniture Upcycling

To be eligible you need to be:
Live within the Black Country
Aged 18 years old and over
Be unemployed
Program Details
Day will consist of both teaching and practical lesson and 0.5 days employability skills from 10am – 4pm
We will adjust times for parents who have to drop off and pick up children from school.
We also follow Dudley School holiday patterns, so there will be no training or work-experience during term holidays
Training
The course will give you the knowledge and skills to:
- 1. Know different Types of Paints and painting techniques
- 2. Stenciling
- 3. Decoupage
Employability Skills Training
We will give you a further training in employability skills, helping you to write a great CV and prepare you for interviews.
Work Placement
Working with you on a 1-2-1 basis, you will start to experience the breath of tasks that you will need to work in this industry
This will help you to build your skills and confidence, giving you a better chance of working in this industry

Financial Resilience course not available until further notice
Financial Resilience Course

To be eligible you need to:
Live within the Black Country – mainly in the Dudley borough
Be aged 19 years old and over
Be employed
Program Details
Course:
Can be taught both in person and on-line
Training
Our financial resilience course, will give you the knowledge in the following:
- 1. Balance your incomings and outgoings
- 2. Search for value for money quotes
- 3. Arrange payment plans
- 4. Seek help regarding debt, bankruptcy, insolvency
- 5. Banking – Know the pros and cons of getting credit cards, overdrafts, and loans
- 6. Get possible reductions if applicable for water rates and energy bills
- 7. Use price comparison sites effectively
